After an entertaining and surprisingly relaxing two days of driving, Aaron and I arrived in San Francisco yesterday evening. Welcomed by perfect temperatures and glorious sunshine, we took advantage of the beautiful afternoon and enjoyed a run by the ocean followed by some fun on the town. We made friends with the owner of a local watering hole, and he treated us to some choice beverages upon hearing about our upcoming travels. Later in the evening, but not too late, we made our way back to the hostel and caught a couple hours of sleep (complete with some complimentary snoring from our bunkmates) before junkshowing our way to the airport this morning. Checking in was smooth and the line was non-existent- quite the opposite of what we were anticipating!

The anticipation and preparation have finally given way to the sheer enjoyment of travel and new experiences and people. We would like to thank all of our friends and family for the positive vibes and support they've given us through all our preparations in the last month. Bayarlaa! (Thank you!)
