On May 11th, 2011, Bozeman, MT based skiers CJ Carter, Aaron Rains, and Ryan Minton will depart for western Mongolia’s Altai Tavan Bogd National Park, where we aim to explore a vast expanse of sprawling glaciers and high peaks and immerse ourselves in the unique, nomadic culture occupying the high steppes and dreamy landscape of Mongolia’s western environs. With support from the American Alpine Club and the Hans Saari Memorial Fund, we are anxiously and humbly preparing ourselves for an adventure not soon to be forgotten.
